Retro Music verses New Music

In an era where many groups that were popular back in the day there has been a resurgence of bands going on tours again such as Chicago, Earth, Wind and Fire, and a host of others.

Someone once said that all music is equal. I disagree. When all music is equal then the best music is brough dfown to the level of the worst. Mediocrity should not be rewarded. So, what do you think.
